The problem
Kovai billed freight from paper delivery notes that arrived weeks after the trip. Disputes were settled from memory, and an internal audit put unbilled and under-billed trips at roughly two crore a year.
What we did
Drivers capture proof of delivery in a low-bandwidth app; GPS telemetry from three different device vendors is normalised into one event stream. Freight is then calculated automatically against contracted rate cards and pushed into their ERP for invoicing the same day.
